About Us

LineTech Consulting Ltd is an engineering consultancy with over 36 personnel located in offices throughout New Zealand.

We offer a wide rang of services covering Transmission and Distribution Lines, Cables and Substations, Civil & Structural Engineering, as well as specialist services in Corrosion and Coatings, Industrial Electrical and Instrument Engineering through to the wider aspects of Asset Management.

LineTech Consulting Ltd has its beginnings in 1994 after the privatisation of the electricity industry in New Zealand. From initial offices in Christchurch and Wellington the company now has regional offices also in Hamilton and Auckland and sub-offices in over seven other locations throughout New Zealand.

Our personnel come from a variety of specialist backgrounds including from Transpower, Utilities and Industry. Many have 30+ years of experience and are well respected in the Industry 

Clients

We currently service clients in NZ, Australia, Pacific Islands, Asia, USA, Scandinavia and Europe.

Whilst Transpower is our major New Zealand client, we provide HV services to several of the Distribution Lines Companies and Generators (including the establishment of several renewable projects). We also provide services into the Industrial Engineering sector.

Our specialist Corrosion & Coatings consulting services have a wide range of clients beyond the power industry including Transit NZ, industrial sites and fuel storage tank facilities.

Oue Civil & Structural division provide services for industrial, commercial & residential buildings as well as site development and permiting services.
